this is great! i have gained about 40 pounds since i lost my job. i dont have stairs to climb and long hallways to run up and down anymore! I started using my ab cruncher and treadmill 3 weeks ago and am now down 16 pounds. I need to more the treadmill to my office so i can keep track of freebies and exercise at the same time.

deedee i also have degenerative disk disease.some days i feel 80 years old.i need to lose weight so badly.i can't sit for long or stand for long without hurting.

ok, one new years resolution is to lose the weight.... 40 lbs to be exact and to be at my ideal weight of 125-130 lbs.

yes!!!!!! i cant wait to start losing weight. i bought exercise videos, weights, i have my treadmill, ab lounger, push up machine and im going to make myself walk and run eventually.

i dont have a problem annoucing my weight just because at least im doing something about it. sooo im going to change my signature to my start weight, current weigh and goal weight. hopefully i will meet by the end of this year!

any ideas that help us, we can post in here for others wahooo im excited

wahoo. i got my "weekly" plan all planned out for myself and what i think will be good for me! just waiting on a few of my things i ordered to get myself into full drive.

ok so watching Biggest Loser last night, i thought to myself, if their weight loss #'s don't get me motivated - nothing will! of course it would really help to have Bob & Jillian "motivating" me!
here is a helpful tip i got from physical therapy....
use a bottle of water as a weight to do arm curls. start with a small bottle and work your way up to gallon milk container. then you can always replace the water with sand for more weight.
