Thoughts please

That happened to me too. The week after I paid off my minivan I got into a fender bender and had to have the front replaced. It's just the way it goes I guess. I hope your ankle and back get better soon. That's a huge bummer.

It's good to hear that the Drs and dialysis are going good....10 pills a days is 10 more than I can remember to take...*sheesh*!! Good luck with being a match for her too, I will keep for that for sure!!!

she doesnt remember her 10 pills, I do though. I set them up for her and say "take these now" "ok now these" I'm sure she'd like to kick my butt

She's lucky to have you there for her to remember everything.

i would forget IF i didnt have them laid out everyday(vitamins)

i got one of the pill organizers at $ store, one of the best $1 i ever spent

That's what I got too, Laura. Her's are individual days so she can throw them in her little backpack along with her crackers and juice I make her carry in case her sugar drops. I wait until she yells "I dont have any pills" then I refill them

you know i think i have a pill holder keychain she could have (if i find it) its brand new and i got as a freebie. if that would help her remember more, dangling from her keys let me know a nd i will look for it.

SVaughn21 if Laura doesnt find the lil pill container PM me your address i have one sitting right next to me.. I am horrible about taking my meds too.. in fact i am way behind for today.. I take lots of calcium's during the day to avoid my face from getting numb.. I have no thyroid right now im getting myself ready for another dose of iodine radiation so you would think i would stay ontop of meds but i dont i will never use the lil container though so if you want it and Laura cant find hers mines free to you.. i will mail it out... And you and your family are in my prayers

i looked in my swap bin, where it should be and in some drawers and cant find it. sometimes i give my parents or parent in laws stuff and i dont remember. i could have sworen i had it though............. i am sorry, i should have checked before offering.

thanks litlbel! glad you have one! i just leave my vitamin organizer out on the counter and when i go in the kitchen i see it and it's saying "eat me" ....ok not really

... i wish i was that good.. one day i will be.. when im so numb i can move my mouth and i will say you should of been like Laura. ..... nah i will learn oneday..

Just a quick update on Angelica. She's been on dialysis for 2 months now and her body is adjusting well. They occasionally pull off to much fluid and she wears down, but she's a trooper and keeps going. Her hours at work have been cut a lot due to dialysis and doctor's appointments so we are barely squeaking by, but we're making it. She is applying for disability so cross your fingers that she gets approved quickly. I am unable to work since she can't see to drive and needs me to take her around. I feel like crap since I can't contribute much, but I have to say, these coupons you post and the freebies have been a real blessing.

Angelica goes in for the fistula surgery today. Hopefully they will be able to attach the vein to the artery and not have to use a graft. She is scared of being put under, but I have confidence in this Dr and we hope that the recovery time is quick. It's going to be a long day for me. If you could keep me in your thoughts, I would appreciate it.
