I don't like writing with just any pen. I only write with pens that are comfortable in my hand. I have Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and writing with pens that don't feel just right in my hand can cause quite the discomfort. If it's not comfortable to hold, then I won't write with it, period. Being a work from home mom with four boys, I find myself writing a lot. From filling out paperwork for my job and helping the boys with their homework to writing grocery lists and chore charts and researching my genealogy, it seems like I never put down a pen. For this, I am extremely glad that I was given the chance to review the UGLee Pen. 'UG' stands for Ultimate Grip and Lee stands for the physician who created the UGLee Pen. The UGLee Pen is refillable ergonomic pen that was perfectly engineered to follow the anatomy of the hand. Less pressure is required to write, instead of you gripping the pen the pen seems to grip you, making this a very comfortable and easy to hold pen. This pen makes writing enjoyable again because the pain level caused from holding a pen has dramatically been decreased. The UGLee Pen writes really smoothly and doesn't smear. It writes smoother than any roller ball, gel ink, or fountain ink pen.
