DEEDEE'S POLL OF THE WEEK....HOW MANY CHILDREN DO YOU HAVE??

Just curious, and I am really enjoying getting to know the members...so how many children to you have (or claim)?

I personally have four!

I have Three- Boy-30, Boy-26, Girl-23 (she is still at home, graduating college on December 19th, which is her 24th Birthday)
The Boys are married, oldest has 3 girls and the middle boy has 1 girl. My daughter has been dating the same guy for 6 years and they said when they both had jobs and she finished her school they would get married so I am hopeful SOON! He is a police officer and she I think will follow in his footsteps only more to do with TBI, CPS something like that. My oldest is in the Army and has served in Irag twice. He is stationed in Ft Hood, Texas. My middle is a parts manager for John Deere. I am widowed.

i have one a little boy who just turned 7 months!! we want to have at least one more once ur son is a couple years old

I have 2. My daughter is 4 and my son is 10. I also have a step-daughter, and she is 17.

My oldest is almost 30, yes I had her when I was 14....it was tough, but we managed. her name is Amanda and she has 3 children, Madison-9, Wyatt-8, and Nola-2.
Then I had a son, Drew who died as an infant. He would have been 27 this month.
Then comes Allese, who lives closest to me, so it may seem to some that she is my BABY! but she is actually 25. Allese has three children also; Violet-5, Daniel-who will be 4 on the 28th of this month, and Vanessa-2.
Then comes my baby...Anson who is 22. I am hoping he will be here for Thanksgiving. But he lives over on the other side of the state in Seattle, and it is likely the pass will be closed by then from snow, in fact I am fairly certain it is closed right now, but it may open again before then...who knows. He isn't married yet, so no grandchildren from him yet. Which is fine with me, all my children (so far) have been sensible and waited until they were married to procreate!!

Cin, I too am a widow. My husband passed in May 2000. I don't think the hole inside your heart ever goes away. But it get's easier to bear after awhile. But this is why I do not have a relationship now....Richard had awfully large shoes to fill!!

I have one child only and she's 17 and she will be graduating from high school next year in 2010. I've been married come December 12, 2009, will be 18 years. And I have a cat her name is Missy.

Lots has happened in my life, but stuff to personal to air in here.

Not much to say .........I guess I lead a boring life??

Beautiful girl, Cin_20!! I know you must be very proud of all your family.

I have two grown boys/men, and 3 granddaughters. I love them all so very much. They all live very far away from me, and I miss them terribly. It's just my hubby and me, and the critters in the house! My sister is very ill, but, I am Blessed to have her, and only a few streets away!

Wow, maybe this should have been a "who and what are you thankful for, " thread!

well, that is certainly what it turned out to be, isn't it!

Yes, it did. It's kind of hard not to brag about the ones you love, and are thankful for. Kids, no matter how old, will always be your kids.

I don't have any kids, but I want to some day. First I want to be married, far along in my career, and financially stable. So yeah, no kids for me for quite a while. I have a furry kid though, My Samson :D

I have 2 childen that I love dearly. Shaun who is 27 and Shannon who is 18. No grandchildren yet.........
I am recently divorced (11/9/09) after 33 years so it is a bit of an adjustment.

but seriously 33 years it really must be rough. my parents divorced at 26 years then oddly enough remarried 3 years later. this time around they have been married another 26 years.

And Kathleen, I had no idea sweetie! I am really sorry to hear that. i mean even if it was for the better it still has to be quite an adjustment and it will be a "process" for you to get through. Just know that we are all right here for you....

well that sure would of been cheaper for my dad but it worked out great for me. when they remarried, my mom "loaned" me money to buy my first house.
