Thank you!!! Im not planning on getting this or having my kids get it. You know what they say, those who get the flu shot get the flu.

I DON' THAVE A SISTER NAMED KIM. JUST SO SOME OF YOU WOULD KNOW THIS EMAIL WAS SENT TO ME FROM MY MOTHER IN MIAMI THAT WAS SENT TO HER BY OTHERS.
BUT THIS IS TRUE BECAUSE I HAVE A SISTER IN LAW AND HER HUSBAND IS IN THE MILITARY AND THEY ARE NOT GETTING THE VACCINE DONE. AND HOPEFULLY BECAUSE HER HUSBAND HAS A BRAIN TUMOR THE DOCTORS WILL HOPEFULLY LET IT SLIDE SO THAT HE WON'T HAVE THE SHOT DONE.
BECAUSE YOU KNOW WHEN YOUR IN THE MILITARY YOU HAVE TO GET CERTAIN SHOTS , IT'S MANDATORY TO DO SO. SO THEY ARE HOPING BECAUSE HE HAS THIS BRAIN TUMOR THAT THEY ARE TRYING TO SEE WHAT THEY CAN DO ABOUT IT THAT HE CAN GET AWAY WITH NOT TAKING THAT SWINE FLU SHOT.
ME AND MY FAMILY HAVE NEVER TAKEN ANY OF THOSE STUPID FLU SHOTS . THEY ONLY MAKE THINGS WORSE. AND THIS LETTER JUST PROVED MY POINT AND ALSO THAT MY SISTER IN LAW KNOWS ABOUT THAT STUFF THAT THE LETTER PROVES IT TO BE HARMFUL.

yowser.. i was offered the vaccine from work BUT with patty and why ruin a good thing. if you dont have it why get it.

However Ismile, I just went to the site that it points to as "proof"...there is absolutely NOTHING about the swine flu on that site.
I don't mind people giving their opinion on here. And in fact I am not FOR the shot. But this information is not correct. And the way it is written makes it sound as if THAT website is telling you NOT to get the flu shot when in fact it is NOT.

I just will never trust a vaccine or drug that hasn't been tested the full 7 years its suppose to be tested for short term and long term effects. This thing was thrown together and handed out in less than 6 months. No one knows whats going to happen to these people a few years down the road. It maybe worse than the swine flu itself, or maybe not. But until it is FULLY tested for 7 years, I will take my chances with the swine flu.

Like I said...I am NOT for vaccines. But I also like to look up the facts when they are presented to me. They had the H1N1 vaccine out in the 70's...although I do not know that they have actually tested it. I will NOT be getting the vaccine, not now, not later on down the line. The only thing I was debating was the use of the website as if it was stating what the emial said as fact, and in fact it was NOT.

Good for you!!! My mom is really trying to push me to get my kids vaccinated, I just dont think so.

I take a lot of vitamins and supplements, too....and I hardly ever ever ever get sick!

I get sick and feel poo pee all the time no matter what so I figure.............whatever, if I get something I get something but don't stick yer needles in me arms please... I don't enough enough facts to give any medical advice...hahaha....but yeah....I say wash your hands and don't put your fingers in your mouth after you touch the lil baby seat thing in your shopping carts. They (Dr. Oz and stuff) found fecal bacteria live in there.....ewwww hahaha My sister inlaw will not use that to put her fruits and eggs in after I told her that.

I have no intention of receiving this shot. One year my doctor gave me the flu mist (up your nose)....I lost my voice for 3-4 months.....had to see a specialist. Last year my doctor gave me the flu shot and pneumonia shot because of my COPD.....luckily no side effects from that.
This year I will pass....

Well, to each there own. But I don't think it should be mandatory in any case. We should have freedom of doing what we want in this country. And not lose your job over it either. You know what I mean? I mean, here you are wanting it for your son...but what if the shoe was on the other foot and they tell you no you can't. Like some people DON"T want the shot but they are telling them you will get it or lose your job. That isn't right. This is America were we have freedom of speech and freedom of alot of things. And if people don't want to get this certain shot that hasn't in my opinion been tested rightfully then they should have the their choice to do so. Is all I mean here. To those who want it fine, to those who don't fine too kinda thing. Everybody's body reacts different to certain medications and stuff what one person can take another can't. Therefore we should be able to make our own choices and have domain over our own bodies and what we put in it.

I don't know about were ya'll live but here even if you do want one you can't get it if your between the ages of 18 and like 55 maybe even 65 or 70. The kids that are getting them MUST have prior contition such as/especially if the child has asthma. So for me, even if I did want one they won't give it to me because of the shortage of shots. My mom works in Surgery and the ER, she is 64 and can't even get one of the shots. They are all just washing hands and teaching kids about not putting their paws in their holes...like mouth eyes, ears cuts and ya know other places.

In the city next to mine its the opposite, under 13, no Swine shots will be given out. Here anyone can, we wont be. I will not give my child an unfully tested vaccine.
And honestly, if you think about it, people can die from a common cold if not treated properly. Its all about sanitization.
