But what if there is a coupon that expires in a year that one of us could use now? Then we would have to wait a really long time to get it.
Last time I got the train, I got $30 in coupons out, and it only cost me $4 to ship. So I still think 2 trains would be good for those of use that use tons of coupons because we will still be saving money with more trains. So, maybe we should have 2 trains, 1 for everyone, and 1 for those that can use the extra coupons and are willing to ship more often. I know if Im pulling out at least $20 in coupons from each, and its costing me $4 each to ship, Im still saving $32 that way, and its worth it to me. What does everyone think??

I was thinking the same thing. Even if it expires in 6 months what if it's for an item I can buy now.

yea well maybe we should just have the two trains... i knwo what u mean about being able to use the coupons now that dont expire until next year... for me i paid the 4.95 but saved 16 something at the grocery store later that day with the coupons i got from the train... so the 4.95 was worth it for me but maybe with 2 trains it will help everyone get coupons more often and not pay as much each time... as long as we are able to fit the coupons in a flat rate 4.95 box that is fine but if we have 2 trains and mail out 2 envelopes being 3.00 ( rough guess) each then we are spending more then if we just had one train and paid a flat rate of 4.95 what u think?

Ahhh, but see, I think if we had two going that we would eventually even out each train to being only half the size. So instead of having to shell out for the flat rate envelope we prolly could get it into an envelope for $2-$3. Also, we have to take into consideration that with travel time and time for each of us to go through the coupons and then get them back into an envelope and then also get to the post office to mail them back....that is about one week at each of our houses. So with (what is there like 7 of us on here?) that many people we aren't getting it but once every two months. Whereas if we have two, then we would get it about once a month. it is about monthly that we all need it in order to plan our grocery shopping.

Flame, I have enough here, I can send out #2 from here, otherwise we will have them too close together. It won't be nearly as many as I sent with the first one, but like I said if Patty can hold on to a few from the batch she is getting then she can add them to the ones I will be sending around and hopefully we can even out the two trains to be about the same size each.

If it is a go with everyone else, i will mail it out tomorrow.

Sounds good. Aprox. how many do you have?? That way I know how many-ish I should keep out to add to the new one to keep them about even.

i am glad all of us are seeing eye to eye and want to make this work as smooth as possiable so all of us can enjoy it and save money we have a nice group of girls on here

ah yes, everyone should be taking out the coupons that expire at least in 1 week. that way you figure time to ship and the time it takes to get there. *** plus if everyone does this it will make it cheaper for you to send!
