I met Duff Goldman today!! Whoohoo!!!!

I just wanted to share that with everyone! I will post the pic in the Gallery. I was audience of an afternoon talk show where he was the special guest today! He is soooo If you don't know who Duff is, he is the ACE OF CAKES!!

WOW lucky you! I love watching his show. Was he really nice?

That is so how exciting that must have been for you. YAY!!!

He is really nice! I never realized how short he is though, he's maybe an inch taller than me and I'm 5'4'!

It's a local afternoon talk show called The View From The Bay, its an ABC station in San Francisco.

Exactly! I have now met both of my "Chef Heroes." Chef Duff, and Chef Elizabeth Falkner, who is also completely amazing! My friends and I interviewed her for a class project.

AHAHAHA I never even saw this thread but I did see the pic. I love his show. It's funny you posted cupcakes because of his cupcake fiasco.

Oh, and Hi Sooya...we been missin' ya!

He made the worlds largest cupcake for Guinness Book of World Records and then after they gave it to him they took it back because he made it in two pieces and it was supposed to be made all in one piece. They had an episode where some of the girls were making cupcakes for a friend and Duff refused to help make them. He said he'll eat them but not make them.

oh...noooooo, how lame. But if he knew the rules before the thing happened then he can't complain. I wonder if he knew it or not?
