Pine Bros. Softish Throat Drops and excellent way to sooth a sore throat.
I had an opportunity to try out Pine Bros. Softish Throat Drops & they could not have come at a better time! I just got the flu... They come in four different flavors, Wild Cherry, Natural Honey, Lemon Citrus, and Licorice.

I received the Natural Honey and Wild Cherry. My favorite would have to be the Natural Honey. They are quite different since they are softish, but not so soft that you can just chew them up. It is recommended that you allow them to dissolve in your mouth so it is good that you cannot chew them.
I liked the texture of the throat drops I felt relief from my coughing and my sore throat while sucking on these throat drops.

Having been around since 1870, Pine Bros. created its first “Pine Brothers Glycerine Tablets” at the time when Ulysses S. Grant was President. The company started when Mr. Pine, a former German confectionery maker, was searching for a way to relieve his own sore throat and those of his family members. Using the soothing natural qualities of glycerin with the healing properties of gum acacia he found a way to create unique throat lozenges that has soothed the throats of many for over 140 years. The company was sold in 1930 to the Life Savers Company, and most recently was acquired by the creator and former owner of Airborne, Victoria Knight-McDowell, for her new company 3 Sisters Home Products™.
Much time and effort has been spent locating the original Pine Brothers recipes, redesigning the packaging, and creating an exciting yet classic new look. Pine Brothers is once again being made in America, and was launched nationally in fall 2011. They are continuing to produce the same throat drop created by Mr. Pine all those years ago.
I really like the puck size case to carry the throat drops in. It holds 26 drops and is very convenient to throw in my purse or, when my daughter had her sore throat she threw it in her backpack. The bags of throat drops contain 32 drops.
