Nutrition First All Purpose Baking Mix Review & Giveaway Ends 7/27 CLOSED

Nutrition First baked goods were designed to help individuals make better dietary choices while enjoying their favorite baked treats. Founder, CEO and mom Jacquie Danforth recognized that millions of Americans seek to control their sugar, calorie, fat and refined carb intakes - but still want products that taste great. So, she created Nutrition First - a line of high fiber bake mixes with these attributes in mind:

* High fiber
* Low calorie
* Reduced sugar
* Reduced fat and free of trans fats
* Less refined carbohydrates (simple sugars)
* Portion control

For this review I received 2 packs of Nutrition First™ All-Purpose Bake Mix - is an all-natural starter mix for the preparation of high fiber, low carbohydrate breads, rolls, pizza crust and more! It is reduced-calorie, fat-free and sugar free starter base suitable for a variety of applications. Great to use in bread machines and for customized bread products such as rolls, pizza shells, pita bread and more!

So off to the kitchen i go and i baked some not just delicious but nutritious Shortbread Cookies!

All you need are:
7 tablespoons Chilled Sweet Butter diced
¾ cup Nutrition First All Purpose Baking Mix
¾ cup All Purpose Flour
¼ cup Splenda™ for Baking

Procedure:

Pre-heat oven to 325 degrees

1. Grease pan with cooking spray.
2. Place the butter, Nutrition First™ All-Purpose Bake Mix and flour in food processor and process until it resembles wet sand.
3. Add in granulated Splenda™ and process until the mixture pulls together.
4. Place dough into prepared pan and using the back of a spoon press down until you get an even layer.
5. Bake for approx. 30-35 minutes or until dough starts to turn golden brown, remove from oven and shortbread in pan.
6. Turn out the shortbread onto a cutting board and cut into small strips.

I served it with a little strawberry jam on top, DELICIOUS! Lil B loved it! Great for my afternoon snack with a cup of hot
