While the potential for serious health problems is low, some consumers are sensitive to the uncharacteristic off-flavor and smell and should not eat the recalled products because of possible temporary symptoms, including nausea and diarrhea.
No other Kellogg'sproducts are part of this recall. The recalled products were distributednationwide.
"We apologize to our consumers and our customers and are working diligently to ensure that the affected products are rapidly removed from the marketplace," said David Mackay, president and chief executive officer, Kellogg Company.

Thanks Wanda! Wouldn't you know it, I have the small, individual servings of some of these. Those aren't on the recall list but it sure makes me leary and concerned.

I know I just bought 3 boxes of Frosted Flakes....sheeww close call.

The kids love them. Christian (3 year old) calls it "chip cereal" because it "looks like little chips"

That's funny. Sometimes I eat them like chips so he's not too far off. I would like some frosted chips please..... with or without the milk

... ha ha ha ha ha I love frosted flakes any way I can get them. No milk? that's okay by me, just give me the box!!!!

It's funny because I bought 2 boxes of Fruit Loops and 1 Frosted Flakes about 3 weeks ago. We ate the 1st box of Fruit Loops and I found several pieces that were burnt and just "not right" but we ate it anyway. This past week, both Angelica and I wound up at the ER . I am sure it's a fluke, but it does make me wonder.

i pick out all the "odd" looking pieces when I eat any cereal, and just keep munching away.

Christian also calls frosted mini wheats "fire fighter cereal" He says the Quaker Oats guy is a fire fighter!
