Post by flameworker Sun Mar 14, 2010 4:51 pm

Today I went to CVS they have

~AUSSIE shampoo and conditioners for .99 cents. There were $1 off coupons in I believe last Sundays paper making them FREE.

~TAMPAX Compax Pearl Tampons 20 count on sale for $2.99...we all got those $2 off coupons in our samples so it makes these .99 cents...I got 2

~HERBAL ESSENSES Shampoos and conditioners are 99 cents....if you have $1 off coupons they're FREE ....aaaaand I had a coupon for a FREE Herbal Essence styling product with shampoo or conditioner purchase. So if you have those 2 coupons you can get both these FREE

~SKINTIMATE Shaving Creams are on sale 2 for $4, they have $2 off coupons in April Cosmopolitan Magazine so that makes these FREE plus text CASHMERE & the UPC code to 467467 and get a FREE bottle of Cashmere Rain nail polish sent right to you door.

Killer Shopping Trips 336496 Anyone else get awesome deals at CVS/Longs?

I have one really close to me...but I don't know how to do all that stuff. I do have a CVS card though. But don't you have to call the number on the back of it to see something about it? How does it work??? Killer Shopping Trips 213660

ismile, just swipe your card before every purchase so you can take advantage of the really great deals. then for example......if Aussie shampoo is on sale .99 cents for CVS card members and you have a $1 off coupon then you can use the coupon to get the shampoo for free.

Plus you get 2% back on everthing you buy at the end of every quarter. You get the 2% back in Extra Care Bucks which you can use to buy things in the store.

They also except all the "free" coupons we get here so I just use them all at once. Killer Shopping Trips 191807

Or what I do is two transactions:

The first one I buy all the things that I can get Extra Bucks back on. Then the second transaction I buy all the things that I don't get Extra Bucks back on....that way I can use the bucks I just earned in the first purchase to pay for the items in the second.

Also did you know at stores like Safeway if they are out of a product like for instance....... Safeway brand marshmellows that are $3 for 2 Bags and all they have in stock are Kraft $4.99 for 1 Bag marshmellows, then they will give you the Kraft for the price of the Safeway brand. Killer Shopping Trips 336496 I found this out over Thanksgiving when one of the employees gave me that tip because they were out of the store brand and the name brand was super expensive. Then when got to the cashier I told her what happened and she had no problem at all. Like they do it all the time.
