You know, I happen to love Graffiti. I think some of it is so artistic. And colorful. Some of the work I've seen is stuff. There are a lot of talented people out there. Unless it's bad words or something like that. I like it!!

wel ismile, where i live it is the gangs that tag peoples property. our city even has a task force that will come out and paint over or try to remove the stuff for free.

I'm not talking the gang related stuff. I grew up in a big city too , Miami and they have all that there too. I'm talking about the good graffitti. The beautiful kind, like murals and bubbly words and stuff.

yeah, as small as the tri-cities is (less than 200,000 peeps) we have a gang task force that will come and remove graffiti for you.

I agree it can be beautiful when it's not tagging, what I don't like is the need to deface someone else's property. I wish some of these people would look into commissioned murals or something like that instead of trashing other people's property.

Ismile, I understand what you are saying....and I have to admit, really the only "pretty" graffiti I ever see is on passing trains. I often wondered why they didn't just let graffiti artists paint all the train cars. but as far as mural type stuff, it just doesn't happen around here. only the tagging.
