I received the Kandle by Ozeri II LED Book Light in Black to review.

Newly designed with 3 ultra bright x2 LED bulbs and a 3-way brightness selector. Kandle II LED book light is designed for the 3rd generation Amazon Kindle and is compatible with the 1st and 2nd generation Amazon Kindle, Sony Reader and other eReaders.

The new Kandle by Ozeri II incorporates the original patent-pending WideLip design that attaches to your eBook Reader without blocking the screen. It has double pivoting arms that allow for easy positioning and 3-way brightness selector that perfectly adjusts for ideal screen illumination.

It features three x2 LED bulbs that are angled and sequentially spaced for even light distribution across the screen without creating glare or eyestrain. The Kandle by Ozeri II has a retractable arm that folds into a closed position so the LEDs are fully protected from scratches or breakage. Ships with 2 CR2032 batteries installed and an extra set of batteries. It also includes a protective pouch for the Kandle. Exclusively warranted by Ozeri to original purchaser.



This light is one of the best book lights I have ever used. It is lightweight and has a bright sharp light that shines on the page perfectly without any glare. It has three different light settings so you can select the appropriate amount of light for your environment.

The Kandle II is perfect for reading in bed at night as the light is confined to the book unlike bedside lights that light up the whole room disturbing your partner‘s sleep. It fits snug and secure on the top the kindle with an adjustable arm to position the light where it is needed most.


It also works for hardback and paperback books and is great for car trips and airplane travel with it‘s compact design and protective pouch.
