The Company
Renfro Foods started their story in 1940 in a garage distributing packaged spices and pepper sauces throughout Fort Worth and the surrounding areas. Now they make 30 different salsas, sauces, and relishes available at supermarkets, gourmet and gift shops and fruit and vegetable stands in all 50 states, Canada, the Caribbean and England.

The Review
I received 4 different products to review the Nacho Cheese Sauce, Nacho-sliced Jalapenos, Roasted Salsa, and Peach Salsa.

They arrived packaged in a box designed to protect each jar during shipping.

I love that the salsas are fat free and gluten free! Plus, they are made with all natural ingredients.



I love the Peach Salsa it is the best I have ever tasted - look at the size of the peach chunks. It tastes fresh and sweet with just a touch of heat.

The Roasted Salsa was spicier with a hint of BBQ. I liked this one too but couldn’t eat too much of it because of the heat. It was a favorite of my husband.

I did not try the Nacho-sliced Jalapenos as I do not like anything that spicy. My hubby said they had just the right amount of heat to them. Not so hot that you couldn’t enjoy them.

The nacho cheese was great on our nachos - cheesy with just the right amount of heat. It was smooth and creamy in texture and melted wonderfully for pouring on the nachos. Top with the Nacho-sliced Jalapenos and you have a great plate of nachos!

We truly loved all these products and would definitely buy them the next time we go shopping as they are reasonable priced at $3.25 a jar.

Renfro Foods recently introduced their hottest salsa to date called Ghost Pepper. It's made of Bhut Jolokia, the world's hottest pepper. Mrs. Renfro's offers unique combinations of fruit, tomatoes and spices for some great tasting salsa!
