Newman's Own Organics Review & Giveaway - Ends 4/3 CLOSED

The Company
When Nell Newman and business partner Peter Meehan started Newman’s Own® Organics: The Second Generation®in 1993, they were sure there was a market for organic snack foods, but they couldn’t have anticipated just how fast the demand for their products would grow. What started with pretzels and grew to include other snack foods has now expanded to many other organic items: coffee, tea, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, organic dried fruit, and pet food. The partners anticipate adding a number of new items each year in all these areas.
'Great tasting food that happens to be organic.' (That's what we kept in mind when we created our products.) We focus on the kinds of products we loved as kids, but take them one step further by using the highest quality of available organic ingredients.

The Review
I received an amazing variety pack to review a couple weeks ago . Eating healthy never tasted so good or been available in such a huge variety of products!

My granddaughter was here I received the box and I have to tell you she jumped with excitement when I open it. She helped me lay it all out for the picture and then promptly wanted to open each package and try them! Of course I told her she could only open a couple. She picked tangerine licorice and raisins. She loved the licorice which is chewy and very flavorful. I had to put the bag of raisins out of site as she kept asking for more.

We received 3 packages of Newman-O's, Ginger 'N Creme, Peanut Butter, and Chocolate Mint, which are healthy creme filling sandwich cookies. These contain no hydrogenated oils in them and they taste so good! The chocolate mint are my favorite.

My grandkids love the Arrowroot Alphabet Cookies. These cookies are super delicious and bite sized, perfect for little toddler hands. Organic Palm Fruit Oil is used to make these cookies which is a much healthier alternative and also cholesterol and trans-fat free.

We were also sent 2 packages of Hermits and 2 packages of Fig Newmans. The Hermits are a rich, chewy, spicy cookie bar sweetened with molasses. I thought they reminded me of bread pudding. I usually do not like fig cookies but I gave them a try - they are actually very moist and flavorful.

The Champion Chip Cookies are crunchy and delicious. My husband kept reminding me that he loved the Orange Chocolate Chip. Like I could forget, he ate the whole bag and did I tell you he doesn’t like organic food?

I almost forgot about the wonderful Chocolate bars. My favorite being the mocha milk chocolate and I don’t even like coffee! They are rich and very silky.

The Soy Crisps were a nice surprise - they were crunchy with just the right amount of seasoning. I am not a pretzel fan so I had my husband review them - he said they were as good as any other pretzel and couldn’t tell they were organic and baked instead of fried.

The dried fruit is the perfect snack when on the go as they travel well and are very satisfying. The mints are very powerful and will leave you with the freshest breathe around!
