Friis Coffee Savor Vault Review & Giveaway Ends 3/19

Hubby and I love our coffee. I like to pick up a few flavors or types and put them in the fridge, giving us variety. The problem with this, unfortunately, is that the coffee doesn’t usually taste as good after the bag has been in the fridge for a while. We bought a glass container to keep the grounds in. That didn’t work. Not only did it let in light but it also didn’t seal well and produced condensation. We bought a stainless container to keep the beans in. It looked nice. Unfortunately, it was cheap and also didn’t seal well. We needed a solution that would allow us to store coffee while keeping them fresh. The Friis Coffee Savor Vault keeps your coffee fresh by locking in flavor while blocking out light, air and moisture. The Friis Freshness Valve vents away flavor destroying CO2 gas. When stored in a , dry place, your coffee stays fresh longer.


I received a Friis Coffee Savor Vault for review. It is a sturdy coffee canister and it looks like it’s made better than the last canister we bought. The canister can hold up to one pound of coffee beans or ground coffee. The black lid, which actually seems to seal, contains the freshness valve that releases the CO2 from your coffee, helping keep it fresher. The valve is easy to access and easy to change. The stainless canister came with additional valves, helpful as it is recommended that valves are changed every two months. I was able to easily change the valve myself. Coffee is perishable much like fruit, milk or bread -- keeping coffee fresh is very important. Without a freshness valve coffee can not be kept fresh.
