Christmas USB Flashdrive

I know that no one has ever actually received a flash drive, but I would hate to be the only person who DIDN'T sign up for this and then find out that everyone else was getting theirs!!!

well, i am not sure the flash drive will be useful, it says it comes with the flyingshare software on it. most times they are read only. but we will see in 2-3 weeks!

To tell you the truth, i will be shocked beyond all shocks if this one actually comes...just being truthful here. But Flying Share doesn't have the best of reputation when it comes to giving stuff away!!!!

it is an interesting site. but i can't imagine storing my data on someone elses server.

BUT WHAT IF YOU DON'T HAVE A SERVER OF YOUR OWN???

if you have that much data, you should have your own server, it is not that expensive anymore plus an additional hard drive for back up is really cheap. i sure don't my business info out there for anyone to hack into!

i would really like that external hard drive that bing was offering, but it would have taken me another six months to get that many points.....

well my mac has a 200GB hard drive, so i am not worried about storage!

yeah, but its the EXTERNAL part I like...i have 2 hard drives on this Acer, both of them are 150G....but I like the idea of my important data being somewhere else ALSO. But until i win the lottery (or play a LOT of Bing games) I will be stuck with what I am stuck with.

Ha...I can't help but remind myself of when I had a four gig computer and I thought upgrading to a 30 gig computer was just the cat's meow!

i use a flash drive for my backup of financial stuff (easy to grab and run with in an emergency) and everything else had cd's for backup and stored in a fireproof safe.

well, the most valuable thing I think i have on my computer are the photos....hard to replace. but there are so many different photo sites you can store your photos anymore, it makes it real nice.
