Re: STEP BY STEP CROCK POT RECIPE

I remember when I was 16 years old and I was in my own apartment for the first time, I didn't know much about cooking. i had this awesome cookbook by Betty Crocker, it showed step-by-step instructions, with photos, just about the same as what i showed. Sometimes you just need to SEE what is going on to make sure you got it right, and to give yourself the confidence that you can do it, too. That was the greatest cook book ever....I think my oldest daughter has it now.

I got mine at Target. Its at least half the size of Deedees. Probably smaller. Its a Hamilton Beach crock pot.

i have two...well, three if you count the one that is intended for potpourri....
I have one like that one there that Laura showed, I think its a 4 cup one, and then my bigger one gets hotter and you can actually take the pot off, and then the base is a small grill! Or bun warmer, or what ever. I really really like my bigger one, I don't think they make them like that anymore, which I think is dumb cuz they are the best!

I could fit a small Turkey in my Crock Pot.. I'm not sure of how many quarts it is or anything like that but it is a special edition Tabasco Crock Pot. Really cool, I can't find any pics of it though so I might have to take one lol..

Okay I took some pics, cause it's too cool to keep to myself. Wink Please disregard the crumbs on the ugly place mat, and the sauce or something that my "cleaning team" didn't clean off the Crock-Pot so well! LOL

Thanks. :D I love hot sauce. I used to have a collection of over 11 different bottles. They lined the top of my stove when I had my own place! My dad calls me Asbestos Mouth.. LOL I'm jealous of your Crock-Pot though, I wish the bottom of mine was a griddle kind of thing! I like things that can perform more than one task.

What are you going to do with your chicken?? I have chicken in my freezer, so if you have any ideas, that would be great!!!
