Praying that all who are in the path of this hurricane come through it safely. I am in preparation mode with 3 sump pumps going, flashlights, candles, etc. Wished I had a generator..oh well. crying

Wanted to touch base because there is a very good chance I will be losing power. Please stay safe!!!!!!!

Good luck Kathleen! I will have you and anyone else affected by this storm in my thoughts and prayers. I live in Central NC and we have been feeling the winds from Sandy all day, but tonight the winds have been quite gusty. I LOVE all the wind, but don't like the damage it can cause.

Take care and stay safe!

Thanks Scatter_Brain. Made it through the night.....the wind was getting scary....so far, I still have power but many others do not. The damage and destruction I have seen has been heartbreaking. My prayers go out to all affected!

Luckily, I came through without losing power. The winds and gusts were incredible! I am one of the few on this mountain that didn't lose power. My heart goes out to all who were affected. Many of my family members on Long Island were flooded out and lost power....my Brooklyn family members came through it okay. The devastation Sandy caused is totally incredible!!!! My thoughts are prayers are with them all.
